    La Chiesa di San Pietro a Pellenberg è una chiesa gotica che risale originariamente al XIII secolo. È costruito sul punto più alto della zona, rendendolo visibile da molto lontano. La chiesa ha subito nel corso dei secoli diversi rifacimenti, con un notevole rifacimento della navata nel XVIII secolo e restauri dopo i danni subiti durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. All'interno troverai splendidi interni con elementi storici, tra cui opere d'arte barocche e un altare maggiore del XVII secolo.

    Assicurati di visitare il cimitero. Oltre ad alcuni epitaffi prosaici, troverete numerosi monumenti funerari che sembrano competere tra loro. Particolarmente impressionante è quella della famiglia Ryckman de Betz, che può ospitare fino a 20 persone decedute. Da vedere anche i monumenti ai caduti della Seconda Ritirata da Anversa (1914) e i prigionieri politici della Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Al giorno d'oggi nessuno viene più sepolto.
