    Notre Dame d'Etang è uno dei principali santuari mariani della Borgogna e il punto più alto della metropoli di Digione. L'edificio situato sul Monte Africa si trova a un'altitudine di 600 metri. Il posto offre anche viste molto belle dei dintorni.

    La prima cappella fu costruita qui nel XV secolo e fu meta di numerosi pellegrini, alcuni dei quali famosi. Fu distrutto durante gli anni della Rivoluzione francese. L'attuale cappella fu costruita tra il 1877 e il 1896 e dovette essere ristrutturata più volte a causa delle condizioni meteorologiche, l'ultima delle quali nel 2020.

    Cappella restaurata nel 2020, il cui interno è visitabile dal 1° maggio fino alla Giornata del patrimonio a partire dalle 15:00. alle 19:00, compresi la domenica e i giorni festivi. Splendida statua dorata che ricorda un po' quella della Madonna della Guardia di Marsiglia. Splendida vista sulla valle dell'Ouche. Alcune panchine e tavoli da picnic, prevedere poco meno di un'ora di salita da Velars-sur-Ouche (preferibilmente prendere i sentieri tortuosi piuttosto che le scorciatoie ripide)
