Il mulino fu costruito nel 1890 e servì in sostituzione del fatiscente mulino ad altalena sullo stesso sito. I primi tre metri sono eretti, poi conici. Questa forma è piuttosto unica per questo tipo di mulino. Questo mulino è entrato in possesso della Simav nel 1986.
