Château de Haltinne is a magnificent historic castle nestled in the picturesque village of Haltinne, within the municipality of Gesves in the province of Namur, Wallonia, Belgium. Situated in the scenic Condroz region, this 17th-century quadrangular structure stands at an elevation of 173 meters, renowned for its architectural grandeur and rich heritage.     Il castello fu costruito tra il 1635 e il 1647 per Gérard de Groesbeek, futuro principe vescovo di Liegi.

    Fu poi di proprietà di Gérard de Mérode, Jean-Hubert de Tignée poi Jacques-Remy de Goer che acquistò la tenuta nel 1690 e trasformò il castello che aveva subito due incendi nel 1674 e nel 1684.

    La famiglia Goer de Herve possedette il castello fino al 1814. Acquistato nel 1889 da Gustave Dumont, morto il 28 aprile 1891, il castello appartenne ai suoi discendenti fino al 2019. Haltinne è oggi proprietà di Claude Froidbise.
