    Il ponte di pietra che attraversa la Loira, il castello sopra la città e le case sul lungomare offrono uno spettacolo che potrebbe anche essere un set cinematografico. Un tempo la regione era un terreno di caccia molto popolare e quindi oggi all'interno delle mura del castello troverete un museo della caccia.

    Il castello fu costruito intorno all'anno 1500. È passato di mano più volte nel corso dei secoli. Alla fine del XIX secolo fu acquistato dal dipartimento del Loiret. Il castello diventa quindi la sede della "sous-préfecture", il tribunale e la prigione. Il castello è un monumento storico protetto dal 1840. Nel 1952 la sua destinazione cambiò e divenne il "Musée de la chasse" (il museo della caccia).
