    Secondo alcune fonti, la storia del Wedeler Mühle risale all'VIII secolo, il che potrebbe renderlo il più antico mulino ad acqua del Benelux. Tuttavia, non ci sono reperti archeologici che lo confermerebbero. Anche se la storia è antica, il mulino è ultramoderno e contemporaneo: nel 1980 la ruota del mulino in legno è stata sostituita da una ruota in metallo ed è stato installato un generatore per generare elettricità con la ruota del mulino.

    L'ex edificio del mulino del Wedelse Molen era realizzato in argilla e legno e fu sostituito dall'attuale edificio nel 1765. Oggi ci troverete un ristorante.

    Puoi leggere la storia del mulino ad acqua sopra. Assicurati di dare un'occhiata anche all'interno. È una locanda con molti vecchi materiali ed elementi del meccanismo del mulino. Dal soffitto pende una vera e propria collezione di boccali di birra "di pietra". Per gli appassionati, una vera atmosfera locale, una bella risata con la direttrice e godersi la nostra sosta con ogni sorta di piccoli ricordi di come erano le cose. Vicino al "confine" con Kleine Brogel (Peer) e sul Dommel.
