    Le tre cappelle di Loretto a sud della città mercato di Oberstdorf sono state costruite una dopo l'altra dal XV secolo e sono meta di pellegrinaggi da tempo immemorabile. Ogni anno, attraverso il Mädelejoch, arriva qui il pellegrinaggio alpino dall'Holzgau in Tirolo. La comunità di Oberstdorf compie ogni anno un "pellegrinaggio di risposta" a Holzgau (contropellegrinaggio non mi sembrava la parola giusta 😉).
