    Sebbene i bastioni di questa potente fortificazione un tempo siano stati ridotti a pietraie, i resti della fortezza di Mither Tap sono estremamente impressionanti. L'ingresso del barbacane è un raro sopravvissuto mentre i panorami dalla vetta sono mozzafiato.

    Mither Tap è in vetta al Bennachie e vale la pena salire lassù. Ci sono vari percorsi in salita, ma il più semplice è probabilmente dal Centro Visitatori di Bennachie. L'ampio parcheggio (ora a pagamento) ei servizi del Centro Visitatori lo rendono un buon punto di partenza. Goditi le viste da Mither Tap.
