La cava di ardesia a Lößnitz OT Dreihansen è stata utilizzata come miniera a cielo aperto dal XIX all'inizio del XX secolo. Qui l'ardesia era rotta e spaccata. Dopo la dismissione, il sito servì per alcuni anni come teatro naturale. Oggi, pieno d'acqua, alla gente piace bagnarsi.
