    Un po' fuori dal paese, ai margini della foresta di Bellême, si trova il castello di Montimer. La sua origine solleva molte domande.
    Isolata davanti al castello, la torre circolare di avvistamento è coronata da un loggiato merlato. Al piano terra, una porta sfarzosa è datata 1506. L'accesso originario era al primo piano, con postierla con ponte levatoio. A ovest si trovano le nicchie della torre di guardia e le feritoie si aprono agli angoli sud-ovest e nord-ovest. La cornice reca la data del 1742. Fu alla fine dell'800 che la rocca venne fortificata.
