Il piccolo fondo appartenente al maniero fu espropriato nel 1945 e distribuito ai coloni secondo le leggi di riforma agraria.
Nel 1993 il castello fu acquistato dai discendenti diretti dei Tümpling e subito iniziò la ricostruzione. Qui si sono svolte le giornate della famiglia von Tümpling nel 1997, 2008 e 2019.
