    Un castello dalla storia fenomenale, che risale al 1155, quando viene menzionato in una bolla papale di Papa Adriano IV.

    Una storia turbolenta, come al solito! Inizialmente fu costruito in legno, ma Enrico il Barbuto lo ricostruì in mattoni. In seguito fu trasformato in uno dei più bei castelli gotico-rinascimentali della Slesia.

    La posizione del castello, su una collina di basalto, è davvero incantevole.

    Questo è anche l'estremità settentrionale (o l'inizio) del Sentiero dei Castelli dei Piast. È difficile immaginare una fine o un inizio migliore per questo splendido percorso storico per escursionisti.
