    La chiesa fu ristrutturata nel 1847 nell'edificio neogotico che è oggi. L'originario campanile romanico del coro fu integrato nell'attuale facciata ovest e la chiesa fu consacrata nello stesso anno. È una chiesa cruciforme, con pianta a croce latina. L'edificio ha una torre in arenaria del XII secolo incorporata. Sulla facciata ovest sono visibili tracce di due ex falde del tetto. L'edificio è costituito da muratura in laterizio su basamento in pietra arenaria. La chiesa ospita un organo Van Peteghem. Questo organo ha una cassa d'organo in rovere in stile rococò ed è protetto dal 1979.
