Fu costruito dai tedeschi durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Essenzialmente un bunker sotterraneo, gran parte di esso è ancora lo stesso di allora. Gran parte è accessibile solo con una guida, assicurati di notare gli orari del tour: fjellfestning.museumvest.no
Con i mezzi pubblici: fino alla fermata dell'autobus Søre, da lì vari sentieri escursionistici fino alla fortezza, a circa 100 metri di altitudine.
