    Complesso e sorprendente, Cadair Idris è l'Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) dell'Eryri meridionale (Snowdonia): una montagna honeypot rinomata per le sue imponenti scogliere, seducenti creste e graziosi laghetti.     Cadair Idris è una piccola catena montuosa, che vale la pena dare un'occhiata a qualsiasi escursionista attivo. La salita è inarrestabile, ma si viene ricompensati con alcuni scorci panoramici. Personalmente, preferisco queste opinioni ad alcune delle 3000. I panorami dal tumulo sono fantastici se è una giornata limpida. Se piove, riparatevi nella piccola baita vicina.     Cader Idris non è la montagna più alta, a 892 metri di altezza - ma parte da vicino al livello del mare, e offre un panorama davvero mozzafiato sulla parte meridionale di Snowdonia. La vetta più alta della cresta Cader Idris si chiama Penygadair; puoi trovare un piccolo rifugio vicino al punto più alto.
