    Gli Schwedenlöcher rappresentano un tratto particolarmente emozionante e rappresentano il mio momento clou nella Svizzera sassone. Questa sezione prese il nome durante la Guerra dei Trent'anni, quando i contadini del villaggio di Rathenwalde vi si rifugiarono per sfuggire ai soldati svedesi e agli occupanti del villaggio. A mio parere, il sentiero delle gole più bello che conosca nella Svizzera Sassone. Questo sentiero particolarmente selvaggio ha qualcosa di quasi fiabesco e a tratti si ha la sensazione di essere nella giungla.
