    Bel piccolo parco con un grande parco giochi tra alberi secolari.
    La Sprea è anche a pochi minuti a piedi/in bicicletta, e anche il ponte Wilhelm Spindler sulla Sprea è proprio dietro l'angolo.

    L'Ernst-Grube-Park (ex Spindlerscher Volkspark), un'area verde comunale nel quartiere Köpenick di Berlino, prende il nome dal politico tedesco e combattente della resistenza contro il regime nazista, Ernst Grube.

    L'area prativa più ampia era in passato l'Ernst-Grube-Stadion, che a mia conoscenza era lo stadio di casa del BSG Rotation Berlin. C'era una clubhouse dove la scuola secondaria superiore Alexander von Humboldt (EOS) organizzava occasionalmente serate danzanti e serate danzanti (io stesso l'ho frequentata da studente). Dal 2008, l'area è un campo di allenamento per l'HSV (Hundesportverein Plänterwald - Associazione Sportiva Cinofila di Plänterwald), che si trova in via Am Ernst-Grube-Park.
