    Poiché il Butzer See è una riserva naturale come gli altri laghi, qui da diversi anni vige un rigoroso divieto di balneazione. Tuttavia, poiché il divieto è difficilmente controllato, sempre più bagnanti si radunano sulle piccole spiagge sabbiose dall'estate all'estate.
