Il complesso, che rappresentava un capolavoro tecnico, fu infine esteso a 1837 metri, diventando così la più grande torre di graduazione mai realizzata.
Oggi rimangono circa 320 metri. Oggi la casa di laurea viene utilizzata esclusivamente per inalazioni all'aperto.
