    Il castello superiore e la torre del castello inferiore nella valle del Lieser presso Manderscheid. Il Castello Superiore era un tempo il castello statale degli arcivescovi di Treviri, mentre il Castello Inferiore, più giovane di circa 150 anni, fungeva da residenza dei signori di Manderscheid, che vi abitavano come rappresentanti dei conti di Lussemburgo.

    Il castello superiore di Manderscheid, chiamato anche Obermanderscheid, è il castello più piccolo e mal conservato del gruppo dei castelli di Manderscheid.
