    Il parco prende il nome dallo scultore Georg Kolbe nel 1957. Kolbe aveva la sua casa e il suo studio nelle vicinanze. Oggi troverete qui il Museo Georg Kolbe e nella sua ex casa il Café K. Cinque grandiose figure dell'artista si trovano nel parco ricoperto di vegetazione, che corre lungo un canalone dell'era glaciale. Tutte le figure sono state completate dalla fonderia Noack solo dopo la morte dell'artista. I disegni risalgono ai tempi del nazionalsocialismo.
    Il parco è un edificio storico dal 1989.
