    Le fasi di costruzione del castello sono ben spiegate su piccole tavole man mano che si sale, in modo da poter vedere chiaramente come i castelli si sono adattati alle esigenze e sono passati da edifici puramente difensivi a edifici di rappresentanza

    Rovine del castello molto belle e piccole. È possibile accedere alla struttura dal parcheggio escursionistico Fäulesloch o direttamente da Hornstein. Di solito durante tutto l'anno si tengono vari eventi nelle rovine del castello (ruine-hornstein.de). Aperta anche la cappella del castello.
