    La chiesa del mercato, insieme al municipio, al parlamento regionale dell'Assia e al vecchio ufficio dello stato civile, insieme ad alcuni altri bellissimi edifici, formano la zona di Dern, che vale la pena vedere.

    La chiesa neogotica del mercato di Wiesbaden è la principale chiesa evangelica della capitale dello stato dell'Assia. Fu costruita tra il 1853 e il 1862 da Carl Boos come Cattedrale di Stato di Nassau sulla Schlossplatz e all'epoca era il più grande edificio in mattoni del Ducato di Nassau.

    La chiesa del mercato ha un carillon che è alloggiato nella torre principale ad un'altezza di circa 65 m. Si compone di 49 campane di bronzo, la più grande pesa 2,2 tonnellate e la più piccola 13 kg.

    Bellissimo carillon con 49 campane! La chiesa neogotica della metà del XIX secolo (costruita dal 1853 al 1862) ha un aspetto imponente dall'esterno. All'interno ricordo la fine elaborazione degli stucchi. Nel presbiterio sono presenti 5 grandi figure, Cristo al centro, particolarmente degne di essere viste oggi perché la mietitura di quest'anno è stata edificata (in occasione della festa della vendemmia).
