    Sotto la cura di English Heritage, Sherborne Old Castle è così chiamato perché accanto ad esso fu costruito un castello più nuovo. Questo forte del 12° secolo è assolutamente sbalorditivo e vale la pena visitarlo. Il castello ospitò Sir Walter Raleigh e gode di una fantastica vista sull'area circostante.
