    A Vista Point hai una bellissima vista sul Lago Mono. Immenso mare interno, il lago riempie un bacino naturale di oltre 180 chilometri quadrati. La caratteristica più distintiva del Mono Lake sono le sue torri di tufo: strutture minerali formatesi quando le sorgenti d'acqua dolce sgorgano nelle acque alcaline del lago. L'acqua salata del lago nutre anche trilioni di artemia salina e attira milioni di uccelli migratori che si cibano di loro.

    Il punto di vista è a pochi metri su per la stradina collinare. In inverno/primavera e autunno questo è l'unico negozio di cibo aperto nella zona, anche in estate probabilmente il posto più accessibile per rifornirsi dal PCT oltre alle opzioni troppo care intorno a Touloumne Meadows. È facile fare un giro quaggiù con un turista e tornare indietro.
