    Il Kropsburg si trova nel distretto della comunità vinicola del Palatinato meridionale di St. Martin nel distretto della Strada del Vino del Sud (Renania-Palatinato).
    Prima della sua distruzione nel 1689, era a.o. Sede dei supremi baroni dell'impero, i Cavalieri di Dalberg. Un edificio successore eretto nel 1771 da un discendente Dalberg dalle rovine nel cortile del castello inferiore era adibito a ristorante.
