    Dopo la sosta a Llyn Y Cwn, scendiamo e superiamo di nuovo la Cucina del Diavolo (Twll Du). La discesa è faticosa quanto la salita. Il sentiero, a quanto si vede, è piuttosto ripido in alcuni punti. Poi diventa questione di prestare attenzione, arrampicarsi e cercare il tratto successivo del sentiero. Questo non è un tratto facilissimo del percorso. Bisogna usare mani e piedi per superare i punti più ripidi.

    Nel momento in cui arrivi a Devil's Kitchen è facile capire perché la crepa scura che divide la roccia di Clogwyn y Geifr (La Scogliera della Capra) tra Y Garn e Glyder Fawr abbia ispirato così tante leggende. Il nome gallese di Devil's Kitchen è Twll Du, che significa "buco nero". Ha preso il nome perché un pennacchio di vapore è spesso visto salire da una fessura simile a un camino. Secondo il folklore, quando il vapore sale dal camino significa che il diavolo sta cucinando.
