    Dovresti assolutamente visitare il Carlsturm quando viaggi nelle montagne meridionali dell'Harz. Mi è piaciuta particolarmente l'ascesa di Sophienhof. Tuttavia, dovresti essere libero da vertigini, perché anche allora la torre alta 50 metri è davvero impressionante. Tuttavia, quando finalmente sali i 155 gradini, la vista è fenomenale! Solo volare è più bello.

    Anche se non hai paura delle altezze, puoi avere le vertigini da quassù. 155 gradini portano alla piattaforma panoramica ad un'altezza di 30 m. Con una buona visibilità puoi vedere le torri vicine e una vista di vasta portata sui monti Harz. Presso la torre c'è una piccola area di sosta e un rifugio. La torre può essere meravigliosamente inclusa in un tour che inizia da Sophienhof. Presso il rifugio si trova il punto di timbratura 51 della nobiltà escursionistica Harzer.
