    L'Holsterturm a Nieheim è IL punto di riferimento della città sotto molti aspetti. È un luogo di incontro, piattaforma panoramica e oggetto d'arte allo stesso tempo. Si può vedere l'installazione "Attack on the Tower". Fa parte del Nieheim Art Path, creato in occasione di EXPO 2000.

    Le lance sono attaccate alle mura esterne, dando l'impressione che la torre sia stata attaccata e abbia respinto con successo questo "attacco". E poiché le lance si sono conficcate nella torre, il nemico è stato disarmato.
