Fu costruito nel 1869 in sostituzione di un mulino in legno demolito nel 1868.
Il mulino a vento fu completamente restaurato dai fratelli Caers nel 1971.
Un'iscrizione nel mulino recita che il 28 dicembre 1925 furono macinati 1.315 kg di segale in un'ora.
Nel mulino è stato riutilizzato il basamento dell'ex mulino in legno.
Il mulino è ancora in regolare funzionamento.
