    Bellissima vetta panoramica sopra Bad Ischl con vista meravigliosa in tutte le direzioni.

    Da vero monte locale di Bad Ischl, il Katrin è visibile da ogni parte della città, dalla Villa Imperiale, dal lungomare sulle rive del Traun, da molte piazze e strade (vi parlerò di più della Città Imperiale di Bad Ischl presto). Katrin appartiene alle montagne Kater, che non ha nulla a che fare con i gatti. Il nome è di origine celtica e significa tagliare, così come in inglese tagliare, il Katergebirge sembra tagliare il paesaggio del Salzkammergut.
