Schloss Bladenhorst is a historic moated castle nestled in the Bladenhorst district of Castrop-Rauxel, a city within Germany's vibrant Ruhr region in North Rhine-Westphalia. Standing at an elevation of approximately 60 meters, this impressive Late Renaissance structure is a prime example of a Westphalian moated castle, surrounded by the natural fenlands of the Emscher region and bordered by the Rhein-Herne Canal to the north.
