The TreeTop Walk at MacRitchie Reservoir is a remarkable free-standing suspension bridge nestled within Singapore's Central Catchment Nature Reserve. This impressive structure spans 250 meters, reaching heights of 25 to 27 meters above the forest floor, connecting the two highest points in the MacRitchie forest: Bukit Peirce and Bukit Kalang. It offers a truly unique vantage point to immerse yourself in the lush tropical rainforest canopy, providing an unparalleled perspective of this vibrant ecosystem.

Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding rainforest and the Upper Pierce Reservoir from the bridge. It offers a serene escape from the urban environment, allowing for invigorating moments amidst fresh air and abundant greenery. Many find it a wonderful track for a personal challenge, appreciating the opportunity for birdwatching and spotting diverse wildlife, making it a highlight for nature enthusiasts exploring the MacRitchie Reservoir trails.

Before embarking on your journey, it's essential to note that the TreeTop Walk operates on a one-way system and is closed on Mondays, except when Monday falls on a public holiday. Access requires a hike of approximately 4.5 km from MacRitchie Reservoir Park or a shorter 2.5 km trek from Windsor Nature Park. The trail to the TreeTop Walk is considered moderate to difficult, typically involving a 7 km round trip and an estimated 3-4 hours of walking. While there isn't a direct MRT station, the Caldecott MRT and Upper Thomson MRT stations are nearby, requiring an additional walk or bus ride to reach the park entrances, so planning your public transport to MacRitchie TreeTop Walk is advisable.

The best time to visit is during its operating hours: Tuesday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays from 8:30 am to 5 pm, with the last entry at 4:45 pm. To avoid crowds, especially if you're looking for a more tranquil experience, consider visiting on weekdays rather than busy Saturdays or Sundays. The TreeTop Walk is a focal point for hiking and trail running, offering a rewarding experience through secondary rainforest and opportunities for wildlife sightings at MacRitchie TreeTop Walk.

The journey to the TreeTop Walk itself is an integral part of the experience, winding through the verdant MacRitchie forest. Hikers often describe the bridge as quite narrow, which contributes to its unique charm and the feeling of being truly suspended among the treetops. The slight sway of the bridge, particularly when crowded, adds to the adventure, providing a memorable encounter with Singapore's natural heritage.

Un ponte lungo circa 300 m su una piccola valle. Il ponte è piuttosto stretto e può quindi essere attraversato solo in una direzione (da nord-est a sud-ovest). Offre una bellissima vista sulle cime degli alberi degli alberi circostanti.
