    A circa 30 minuti da Mitte, il parco del castello offre una destinazione idilliaca per il dopo lavoro. C'è una pista ciclabile lungo il fiume con tanto verde e alberi e alcune panchine per la lettura.

    Il parco conserva il carattere paesaggistico del progetto di Lenné. Lungo i numerosi sentieri tortuosi si può seguire il corso del torrente Panke, che attraversa l'intero parco di 30 ettari. Splendido il vecchio ceppo di acacie, querce e castagni. Le aree che ai tempi di Lenné fungevano da prati sono ora utilizzate per orti e campi sportivi.
