    Nell'XI secolo, durante l'assedio del castello di Castro Laboreiro, D. Afonso Henriques ordinò la fondazione di un convento per mostrare apprezzamento per l'aiuto offertogli durante la sua campagna militare. Ci sono diverse incisioni nel mosto di pietra uno sguardo. I vari archi mostrano architetture di epoche diverse e sono ancora in buone condizioni.

    Il convento è chiuso da tempo e gli edifici mostrano la mancanza di manutenzione ma sono comunque molto interessanti. Come con la maggior parte dei luoghi della regione, è abbastanza aperto per esplorare i terreni e trovare i suoi altri segreti.
