    Sullo sperone montuoso delle rovine del castello si ha una splendida vista sulla diga. Non troverai più molto dell'ex castello. Puoi leggere il suo precedente scopo su una bacheca informativa. Il rifugio ti offre un posto dove riposare, la scatola dei timbri dell'ago da trekking Harzer la possibilità di riempire ulteriormente il tuo libretto. Un buon modo per visitare il castello è da Trautenstein lungo il Rappbode.

    La collina del vecchio castello era ben scelta, un posto bellissimo con viste fantastiche e sufficienti opportunità di riposo.
