    A mio parere, la vista da questo punto è di gran lunga superiore a quella dall'attuale vetta del Sale Fell. Una vista meravigliosa sul lago Bassenthwaite fino al massiccio dello Skiddaw. In una giornata di bel tempo, la vista da qui è una delle migliori di Lakeland. Anche una panchina molto ben piazzata segna il punto

    La MIGLIORE vista su Sale Fell poiché l'avventuriero Nic dice che è di gran lunga superiore alla cima di Sale Fell. In una giornata limpida, la profondità del paesaggio che l'occhio può vedere è possibile che sia una delle viste più idilliache dell'intero Lake District. Se la panchina è occupata, non preoccuparti perché la vista può essere goduta per diversi metri lungo il sentiero. In alcuni giorni questo è un bel posto dove fermarsi per un picnic a metà escursione poiché l'elevazione più bassa lo rende un po' meno ventoso rispetto alla vetta in alcuni giorni.
