    Il parco di pertinenza del palazzo è un parco all'inglese di 20 ettari, comprendente un grande lago con sponde strutturate e numerosi alberi secolari.

    Il parco del castello è stato allestito nel XIX secolo e oggi, con le sue diverse strutture - tra cui il grande lago come specchio d'acqua immobile ricco di specie o il resto di un prato di latifoglie a nord del parco - offre importanti habitat per un gran numero di specie animali.

    L'origine del castello era un complesso castellano, sulla base del quale il castello fu costruito nel XVI secolo in stile rinascimentale su una collina sul Mulde. Successivamente i primi edifici divennero un complesso a quattro ali con parti in stile barocco. Il castello è attualmente vuoto.
