    Il cimitero Rosenthal (a quasi 1 km dal monastero) esiste dalla metà del XIX secolo. Grazie ad un'iniziativa cittadina degli anni '90, che con impegno ha reso di nuovo sicuro e accessibile il cimitero e se ne prende cura ancora oggi, lì all'ombra si può trovare pace e tranquillità.

    Il monastero e le rovine sono bellissime...le mura emanano un'atmosfera fantastica...la storia sembra interessante....vale la pena solo dei dintorni e dei grandi sentieri escursionistici che lo circondano

    Il monastero di Rosenthal, oggi Rosenthalerhof o Kerzenheim, frazione di Rosenthal, era un'abbazia cistercense dedicata alla Madre di Dio. Il monastero fu fondato nel 1241 dal conte Eberhard IV von Eberstein (ex conte Eberhard II), signore di Stauf, e sua moglie Adelheid von Sayn. Dopo la battaglia di Göllheim, Adolf von Nassau fu inizialmente sepolto in questo ex monastero cistercense a Rosenthal e solo successivamente trasferito a Spira. Oggi Adolf von Nassau e il suo avversario di allora, Albrecht von Habsburg, sono fianco a fianco.
