    St. Johannis, il potente "Friesendom", fu costruito nel XIII secolo. Il fonte battesimale è di cento anni più vecchio. Il pregevole altare scolpito risale alla fine del XV secolo. All'ombra di St. Johannis sono sepolti i marittimi che sono tornati sani e salvi da tutti i viaggi e hanno potuto godersi la vecchiaia sulla loro isola natale.
