    Sulla riva destra dell'Ourthe, le rocce Sy sono utilizzate dagli alpinisti. Le principali si trovano a monte del paese e si chiamano Cathedral Rock e Nandouire Rock. Queste rocce calcaree, che fanno parte della Calestienne, sono iscritte nell'elenco del patrimonio immobiliare classificato di Ferrières dal 1942 e sono classificate come sito di grande interesse biologico.
    Queste stesse rocce furono dipinte da Richard Heintz che risiedette per molti anni nel villaggio e morì sull'altra sponda dell'Ourthe a Verlaine-sur-Ourthe (Tohogne - attualmente Durbuy) (targa commemorativa) ma la sua morte fu registrata a Sy (allora comune di Vieuxville).
