    Il ponte di Eppendorf attraversa la via Eppendorfer Baum sul canale Isebek. Il ponte collega i tre quartieri di Amburgo: Hoheluft-Ost, Harvestehude ed Eppendorf.

    Il ponte ad arco, lungo 21,10 m e largo 22,93 m, è rivestito in mattoni di clinker e poggia su plinti in granito.

    A seguito di una legge approvata nel 1925 per promuovere e sostenere gli artisti visivi, numerosi edifici statali furono decorati con opere d'arte contemporanea entro il 1933, tra cui il ponte di Eppendorf. La sua ringhiera in ferro battuto raffigura pesci stilizzati ed è stata progettata dal pittore e scultore Richard Haizmann.

    I pesci sono davvero accattivanti e rappresentano un'ottima opportunità per scattare delle foto! Una bella mano di vernice fresca sarebbe un peccato.
