    In passato l'Osterloher Aller Weir rappresentava un ostacolo insormontabile per la vita acquatica. Oggi la situazione è cambiata. La NLWKN ha sostituito lo sbarramento con un “canale grezzo”, in modo che i pesci possano ora ripassarlo sulla strada verso le tradizionali zone di deposizione delle uova.
    L'attraversamento per ciclisti e pedoni è ora terminato e questo luogo è ora un bellissimo luogo di svago locale nella città di Celle.
