    Ochsenburg ha una storia interessante. La città era circondata da una cinta muraria, i cui resti sono ancora visibili oggi e che sono classificati come monumenti storici. I diritti della città sono stati preservati nella storia movimentata fino al 1807, lo sviluppo politico corrisponde a quello di Zaberfeld. Gli annessi dell'ex castello rinascimentale ricordano i signori di Sternenfels, che possedevano Ochsenburg. Purtroppo il castello stesso fu demolito nella prima metà dell'800. Anche la strada "Schloßhof" è un relitto di quest'epoca passata.
