    La proprietà di questa vecchia locanda di Monaco, sotto Oberföhring am Isarhang, si trova sulla Römerstraße, che duemila anni fa collegava Augusta con le miniere di sale nel Salzkammergut. Nelle immediate vicinanze c'era il ponte sull'Isar che fu distrutto da Enrico il Leone fino al 1158 - questo fu il motivo della fondazione di Monaco. La base dell'edificio, che oggi ospita l'omonima birreria a Sankt Emmeram, era già menzionata nel XIV secolo come "mulino vicino a St. Emmeram". Nel 1711 fu costruito il "New Mill" Sankt Emmeram.
