This bridge is the one on the old SNCV 450 or 36A/36B tramway line connecting Binche to Bersillies-l'Abbaye and Montignies-Saint-Christophe. It was decommissioned in 1953.

Passe-tout-Outre is a locality in the Belgian village of Autreppe (commune of Honnelles) located in the Walloon Region in the province of Hainaut. Being at the crossroads of the old Brunehaut road linking Bavay (in France) to Tournai (in Belgium) and the border road from Fayt-le-Franc to Roisin, and located exactly on the French border, the locality owes its name and its reputation to the fact that its café was the usual stopover for smugglers of all kinds, waiting at night to smuggle their goods into France. Only an old and modest customs post and the Auberge du Passe-Tout-Outre (former 18th century farm) keep the memory of these bygone times.

The vineyard is located in Haulchin, between Binche and Mons, on the so-called “Les Agaises” bed on a hillside very rich in limestone and facing south, over which Lord Ruffus reigned in the 12th century. It was in 2002, at a time when Belgian viticulture was quite confidential, that the first two hectares of Chardonnay were planted on a unique terroir, that of “Terres Blanches”. The estate, the very first in Wallonia intended exclusively for the production of sparkling wines, a true spearhead of the wine revival in Belgium, has gradually expanded to reach more than 35 hectares today.
