Addendum: MTB tour from July 9th, 2024 (7 days ago).
Big loop from Torbole around the long northern Lake Garda mountain range - Monte Misione (1803 m), Monte Casale (1630 m) and Monte Brento (1543 m) - to the Canyon del Limarò between the towns of Ponte de Arche and Sarche.

Calendar start of spring, sunshine and pleasant temperatures!
So for a change we went back to the beautiful Wetterau, hoping to find dry trails in the open terrain.
Unfortunately, this calculation didn't quite work out... 😖😅
Still, it was a lot of fun 👌
By the way, the tour from/to Ober-Mörlen was accompanied

In the wonderful late summer weather, another enjoyable walk over the Vogelsberg, with a stop at our "Würstchen-Doro (To the beautiful view)" 🤩
We were also traveling for the first time in the large northwestern Vogelsberg headwaters of Wetter, Horloff and Seenbach.

Explorations in one of the river sections in Europe with the most castles - the lower Neckar valley - were on our program yesterday.
Stolzeneck Castle, Minneburg, Zwingenberg Castle and Eberbach Castle were our special destinations there!

At least once a year we have to check on things up here in the Vogelsberg - the largest contiguous volcanic area in Central Europe (according to Wikipedia) - of course......👌😉
Our current conclusion: Everything is OK!!!
No eruption in sight in the short term 🤣
