Because of the carnival parades, we were looking for a hiking destination by car so that we didn't have to drive through villages and get stuck in traffic jams. Gersbach was the ideal starting point. Today we set out for a lovely, sunny walk/short hike. The route includes everything, a short stretch of tarmac, then a dirt road and then a single trail. Partly through colourful foliage, over roots, stones and small wooden bridges to safely cross the gurgling streams.
