Starting at the Bruck-Säge parking lot, the Emmi-Mobil saved 2.5 km of asphalt up to there.
The signposted walking time to the Rotspitze was 3 3/4 hours.
It actually took just under 2 3/4 hours.
And there's quite a lot going on along the trail.
Up to the clearing at the junction with the Breitenberg route

For this year's farewell tour, we went back to the Schrattenwangalpe.
Welcoming and saying goodbye to Bella is a tradition for us. (Those in the know already know.)

"Caught by surprise" by the rain, I only had time for a short walk along the meadows near Oberstdorf.
The Stillach Bridge provided shelter from the heavy showers.

The Großer Daumen is almost always on the agenda for vacations in Oberstdorf.
So far, the visibility has unfortunately always been very limited.
Today, at least the silhouettes of a few 3,000-meter peaks were visible. Later, the Zugspitze was also visible.

From Reichenbach to the Entschenkopf, past the Upper Gaisalpsee, over the Gaisfußsattel to the Nebelhorn, to the Höfatsblick station.
The Entschenkopf is less frequented than its neighbor, the Rubihorn.
Anyone who has made this climb knows why.

The Oytal Valley is probably the most beautiful in Oberstdorf.
Along the Trettach and later the Oybach, it's a pleasantly leisurely tour for long stretches.
Shortly before the Oytalhaus, the section begins where the mighty walls and peaks are closer than in any other valley.

The Rappenseekopf was the plan.
Because the walking time to the Rappenseehütte was significantly shorter, I had rescheduled for Hohe Licht.

From Christelsee via Hölltobel, Alpe Dietersbach, Älpelesattel, Hochwiese at Rauheck, Eissee lakes, Oytal valley back to Oberstdorf.
The first morning view of the Trettachspitze has a certain charm.
I found the ascent from Älpelesattel to the plateau in front of Rauheck more difficult than the descent

The cycle path from Fürstenwalde to Hangelsberg is currently being renovated along the real Spree River.
A section has already been paved.
The path (or is it almost a cycle path?) is becoming wider and more level.

In the otherwise flat Brandenburg region, crossing the Rauen Mountains is a beautiful highlight.
Coming from Rauen, there's a short climb at the beginning, with a gradient of 8-10% in places.
After a few bends, it levels out again at the level of the large boulders.

From Göhren's south beach to the Kleiner Zicker, you can walk directly along the water around the Kleiner Zicker, with one brief exception.
About 7 km barefoot through the sand to the Lobbe stone wall.
Free foot scrub.

Two years later, I'm walking along the chalk coast again today in beautiful weather.
The scars of the Baltic Sea storm of 2023 can only be guessed at at Sassnitz harbor.
There are a few small new cliffs along the chalk coast.

Beautiful weather and a mild late afternoon on our last day in the Allgäu made us want to take a farewell dip.
The mountain rescue trail above Bad Oberdorf offers a great opportunity.
