The nine hiking friends were in luck.
The drizzle stopped after a short while, and towards the end of the tour, the sun even came out.

Today I was able to lead a hike from and to the Brühl Water Tower with 10 other nice people.
We were lucky with the weather, and the paths were dry and easy to walk on.

The section from Thielenbruch to Bensberg is clearly the most scenic part of the Cologne Trail. It leads through the city of Bergisch Gladbach.

Today we went for a hike around the lakes in the Ville with Monika in beautiful spring weather. In a cheerful group we discovered the first buds, everything was sprouting, birds were chirping, we sat in the midday sun, just a beautiful day! Thank you Monika!

With the weather getting better and better, 14 hiking friends (12 club members and 2 guests) hiked from the parking lot on Willy-Brandt-Strasse to Bleibtreusee and then along Seeweg (S) to Luxemburger Strasse. After crossing this, we turned left towards the railway underpass.

As always, on the last Wednesday of the month, a hike took place in the Ville. We started at the Willy-Brandt-Straße parking lot with 12 members of the EvOg Brühl and one guest, on the left side of the shore path toward Schluchtsee. We first turned right, then left again onto the path above Schluchtsee

We actually wanted to take public transport back to Brühl from Birkhof, but we changed our plan because public transport only runs every 2 hours on Sundays. We walked to Brühl on paths I hadn't seen before, to our starting point, and some participants who were familiar with the area acted as "hiking

Our goal today was to get as close as possible to the wild horses on Monte Sophia, or Sophienhöhe. These horses belong to the Konik breed, which originates from Poland, and are naturally very robust and adaptable. The open meadow area on the 'Goldene Aue' is perfectly adequate for these seven animals
